Are you planning a get together over the Memorial Day weekend? Do you need some ideas on what to serve, maybe a great centerpiece or place setting idea? I will give you a few that I love, here!

How about serving a simple snack or dessert at your gathering that fits in with a red, white and blue theme? Serve fresh raspberries, blueberries and strawberries in a cone made of parchment paper. Set completed cones in a bowl, punch bowl or pan to keep them standing upright. A wonderful and easy snack or dessert for your guests!!  (It might even look great as a centerpiece on the table. If you like, you could have whipped cream in a bowl next to this to add to the berry cones!

Look around your house, do you have some blankets, placemats or rugs that are red, blue or even white? take them to the area where you are hosting your gathering to patriotize the space. Feel like going shopping? Area stores have a lot of great items to decorate for Memorial Day and later, the Fourth of July!
